We've been having the run around with illness lately. We all come down with a pretty nasty cold last weekend. That wasn't fun...we are still seeing the booger monster lingerying with the little ones, well and with Justin too. I seemed to have picked up the flu or whatever it is that my dad had earlier this week. Unless things get worse tonight, it seems to be only a 24 hour type thing, and I'm feeling better now. I'm hoping that tonight won't be like last night.
Micron announced that they are letting go another 1,500 employees. It appears that Justin's job is safe for now. So that gives us a little bit of relief...but I think that there is always a worry of "well, what happens next time? and when will the next time happen?" I'm just grateful that his job is safe for now. I've really been worried/focusing on getting more food storage lately, and trying to pay our debt down. I was really hoping to be able to help out by making some things and selling them, and making a few bucks...but no luck with that yet. But I'm gonna keep trying, for now at least.
I was able to get some free white seedless grapes off of freecycle on wednesday. With my mom's help, I was able to make several jars of jelly and 7 quarts of juice. Tomorrow, if I'm feeling up to it, I'm going to pick some of my parents concord grapes and more some more jelly. Now, if only I could actually have grape stuff, then I could really enjoy it...but oh well, at least Justin and Abby can it enjoy it for now.
We went to Vale twice last week. Abby sure enjoyed herself. Especially on Sunday, because she got to play with her cousin Lilli. She absolutely loves her older girl cousins. (the two of them that she has)
Here are a few more pictures of the last few projects that I've done. I've done several other bibs and aprons for the cousins...it's been kind of fun. And I wanted a little bit bigger diaper bag, so I made a new one. Justin wanted the elephants on it. It turned out pretty cute I must say. :-)

I had to take my sewing maching in a couple of weeks ago. Whenever I was emobroidering, it started making this kind of loud clunking noise. The repair man said it was actually a flaw in the machine that has since been fixed. But he was able to fix it. I tried it out that next day, and it was embroidering great. I went to do some normal sewing, and the needle wouldn't move, when I was selecting different stitches.. So I took it in again...this time the repair man said he coudln't figure out what was wrong with it, so he had to send it to the manufacturer. It's been almost 2 weeks now...and I'm still waiting to hear what's wrong with my machine...so in the mean time, i've stolen my mom's machine (which is identical to mine). Luckily, my machine still is well under the warranty.
Well, I'm gonna go head off to bed, and hopefully get some sleep tonight.
