We have been trying to get more food storage the last few months. I've been searching with my mom trying to find cheap storage buckets.. We found one place in Eagle were you can order them for like $5-$6 bucks each. Justin was talking to his buddy Andy, and he told us he could get us some buckets from a donut shop. So, I've been spending the last few days trying to clean out the buckets. They look clean, but still smell like donuts. With each scrubbing, the smell is getting less and less. Anyone have any other suggestions to get donut smell out of buckets? :-) Justin figured it wasn't that big of a deal...maybe our food storage will taste like donuts, eh? :-)

Have you thought to soak them in a baking soda solution?
