Daphne's Triumph

Daphne has finally discovered how to roll over by herself. It is cute to watch. Even cuter to see her trying sooo hard to do it. Can she really be big enough to do that yet?

Single parent for the day

Justin went to Utah with his brother today, leaving me alone with the kids. While, it's not a whole lot different than when he's at work, or sleeping durning the day, just knowing that he's not going to be around today...and possibily tomorrow, really sucks. I stopped counting how many times Abby has said today "I miss Daddy. I want Daddy." Come home soon!

Daphne is trying to roll over. She is SOO close, she gets her head dug into the carpet and starts kicking her legs a bit. It's so cute. Who said that she could be big enough to do that yet? I'm pretty sure that I didn't.

I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new table. Justin and his brother picked it up at Ikea today. It will be nice to have a nice looking table. :-) I've been trying to get the kitchen cleaned up, so there is a place to put the new table when they get back.

Well, I think that I might take Abby out for ice cream or something. We both need to get out of the house for a few minutes. Then back to housing cleaning it is for me.

Easter Madness

Happy Easter. Here are some pictures of the Easter dresses Mom and I made for the girls on Friday. They turned out SOOOO cute. I am blessed to have such a talented and willing mother. :-)

Abby's Class

We signed Abby up for a gymnastics class at the Rec Center. Yesterday was her first class. We were worried that she was going to be really shy and not want to do any of the stuff..but she wasn't...she was the opposite. She was SOOOO excited..and had a hard time sitting long enough for the teacher to explain what to do next. It was so cute to watch. The engery and excitement coming out of her. I can't wait for the next few weeks, to see how she does. :-)
We are still fighting the crud. I just feel so tired. I need a nap...or two, or three. I've been trying to de-junk my house some. I finally got the pantry cleaned out, and my cupboards..that's a nice feeling...not I need to get the bathroom cleaned, and the closet in abby's bathroom organized...
Not much else is happening around here. Just another night with Justin at work....these are long nights.

Return of the Green Booger Monster

Once again, the booger monster has decided to return. Daphne was up most of the night snorting and coughing. Poor little girl. I can't believe the amount of snot I've suctioned out of her. :-) ::yummy:: or something like that.



Febuary was my month for Jury Duty. My number was called up one time, but I had already been dismissed because Daphne had a Dr appointment that day. I'm glad that I decided to go for the month, instead of having them postpone it for 3 months.



We found another remote for the Wii at the Goodwill for $10. It was a return from Target. It works for the most part. :-) Sometimes in the Menu area, it will lose connection, and you'll have to reconnect the remote. But we haven't had any problems using it during games yet. So that is awesome! Abby likes bowling with all three of us, and not having to switch remotes. Abby is amazingly good at the bowling. She has beaten me several times. :-) We ordered another dance pad for Dance Dance Revolution. It should be here in a couple of days. This way two people can do it at the same time. That will be fun..and a lot of fun when company is in town.



Well, I need to go find my house. I am completely burried in laundry and dishes. Wish me luck.

update

We went to Pocatello and Utah this week. To get a way for a while. It was a lot of fun. It was nice getting out of the house, and even nicer spending some time with family. We celebrated Abby's 4th birthday on Monday. She had a lot of fun playing with cousins. She loves all the presents that she got. Abby already wants to go back, she misses playing with her cousins. It was nice riding in our new car too. It is a more comfortable ride than the saturn. We got up to 32.4 mpg as well! So that was exciting.
Well, I'm making cinnamon rolls today. I need to decide on who I'm going to take some to. So I don't have that many here at home. :-) I also need to get the house cleaned up, so that we can get Justin's new dresser into the room..and we need to get our new freezer plugged in. I'm excited to have more freezer space again. And not having everything burried in the bottom of the freezer.
